Insurance payments to victims of the devastating February earthquakes in Türkiye amounted to almost $1 billion, Report informs referring to TASS.
As of April 17, as many as 469,000 applications regarding damages have been received from local citizens, and 54,600 have yet to be considered.
The Turkish authorities previously informed that the total losses from the natural disaster exceeded $100 billion.
