The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine appointed Viktor Lyashko as the Health Minister, Report informs, citing UNIAN agency.
According to the agency, 262 MPs supported his candidature.
Lyashko was a deputy health minister and replaced Maksym Stepanov, fired this week because of being accused of failing to supply adequate vaccine doses to fight the coronavirus pandemic.
In his interview to Report on May 12, Viktor Lyashko spoke about the cooperation between Ukraine and Azerbaijan in health.
