"We do not see that Russia needs talks with the United States," US State Department spokesperson Andrea Kalan said in an interview with Ukraine 24.
Andrea Kalan noted that the United States wants Russia to reduce tensions and withdraw its troops from Ukraine.
"The United States wants to see this to conduct talks with Russia. But Russia is now demonstrating aggression and occupation," she said.
According to Kalan, the United States is using every opportunity to help Ukraine defend itself and provide Russian citizens with complete information about the situation in the region.
