The number of Russian border guards may be reduced on the Armenian border with Türkiye if it opens, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan said at a press conference, Report informs via Armenian media.
"If there is an active, open border between Armenia and Türkiye, and there is trust, we can consider and discuss this issue," Mirzoyan said on Wednesday, responding to journalists' questions about the possibility of reducing the number of Russian border guards on the Armenian-Turkish border.
He also noted that there are currently no discussions on the agenda in Yerevan regarding the presence of the 102nd Russian military base in Armenia.
