Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf has warned of the consequences of a new escalation against Tehran, according to Report.
"Wrong strategies and impulsive decisions will reset the entire board for the worse, explode energy infrastructure and markets and create an endless quagmire that you will be stuck in for years.
You will see a different Iran," he said in a post on X.
The comments came after US President Donald Trump threatened to launch strikes against Iran as early as tonight and expressed an intention to establish control over Iran's Kharg Island.
