Türkiye is working toward ensuring peace in the region, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said at the "Power to the Blue Homeland: New Naval Platforms Handover Ceremony" held in Yalova, Report informs.
He said that official Ankara is making all efforts in this regard.
Erdogan said that those who condemned Türkiye's mediation in the Russian-Ukrainian war are regretting it today.
According to the Turkish leader, those who talk about democracy and human rights turn a blind eye to the injustices happening in the world: "The international institutions responsible for ensuring security in the world have failed."
