Sweden has not fully fulfilled the terms of the memorandum for joining NATO, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said at a press conference with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, Report informs via TASS.
“It would be wrong to say that Sweden has sufficiently fulfilled its obligations under our memorandum. Yes, they have changed the laws [in the field of security], but nevertheless, the activities of the terrorists, the PKK, continue there. We acknowledge and see some positive steps taken by Sweden and Finland that have indeed been made. But the obligations have not yet been fully fulfilled,” Cavusoglu said.
