Lithuanian Prime Minister Gintautas Paluckas has called France's ability to provide a nuclear umbrella for the EU weak, Report informs.
"Today, Lithuania is protected by NATO's nuclear umbrella. Seven NATO countries participate in the nuclear deterrence program. The French offer is interesting, but I want to say that the French nuclear arsenal and its ability to provide a European umbrella are currently very meager," he said in an interview with Lithuanian media.
