German Defense Minister Christine Lambrecht said that Germany might soon halt deliveries of military assistance to Ukraine because Germany's Armed Forces, Bundeswehr, has almost reached the limit of weapons left in its warehouses, Report informs, citing foreign media sources.
According to the minister, weapons are being provided to Ukraine for defense against Russia from the reserves of the German Armed Forces. However, Lambrecht pointed out that "the German Armed Forces may have problems in guaranteeing the national and allied defense" if the aid continues.
