The political wisdom of President Ilham Aliyev has contributed to the end of hostilities, Russian President Vladimir Putin said in the AZTV documentary “President. Unique diplomacy” dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the Azerbaijani president, Report informs.
Putin reminded that Russia acted as a mediator during the 44-day war, and “I am glad that we managed to reach this agreement.”
“Our goal is to ensure that people in this region feel calm and confident, that all obstacles to economic development are unblocked, that people feel that they live in security and have good development prospects, so that they look safely to their future and the future of their children,” Putin said.
