Russia relies on the whole range of tripartite agreements at the highest level in the process of normalizing relations between Baku and Yerevan, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova told a weekly briefing, Report's Russian bureau informs.
Zakharova stressed that it is the trilateral agreements that constitute a reliable foundation for advancing this process: “We take into account that we are bound by allied obligations with both Armenia and Azerbaijan, therefore, as a mediator, we invariably take a position that allows us to effectively perform this function. I hope that Armenia is aware of it," she said.
