Secretary general: CICA countries intend to discuss digitalization of transport corridors

As part of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA), it is planned to hold a conference on the digitalization of transport corridors and a conference of port organizations of the organization's countries, CICA Secretary General Kairat Sarybay said during the 8th plenary session of the CICA Business Council held in Baku, Report informs.

According to him, the Conceptual Document on Transport Corridors for 2025-2027 has been updated and Kazakhstan has initiated the creation of the Council on Sustainable Connectivity, which is being discussed in a special working group.

As Sarybay noted, a new electronic collection with key economic trends, opportunities and success stories from the CICA countries will be presented during the upcoming business forum today.

"This will be a useful tool for all those who strive for sustainable development of small and medium-sized businesses. It is also worth noting the progress in the transformation of CICA, namely the CICA Financial Summit - an initiative proposed by Kazakhstan and supported by Azerbaijan, is being discussed as a permanent platform," the secretary general said.
