Azerbaijan will share its Karabakh urban development model with countries of the United Nations Special Programme for the Economies of Central Asia (SPECA), Samad Bashirli, Azerbaijan's Deputy Minister of Economy, said during an event held within the 13th Session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Baku, Report informs.
According to him, smart, zero-emission, and sustainable cities are being built in Azerbaijan's liberated territories: "A new urbanization model is being developed to enable the return of 85,000 people to the region. Projects include renewable energy, digital management, and human-centered urban planning approaches. Azerbaijan is ready to share this experience with SPECA countries."
