Azerbaijani weightlifter Fakhraddin Allahverdiyev wins 3 silver medals at European Championships

Azerbaijani weightlifter Fakhraddin Allahverdiyev has won three silver medals at the European Youth and U15 Weightlifting Championships in Pristina, Report informs, citing the Azerbaijan Weightlifting Federation.

Competing in the under-85 kg weight category, the athlete lifted 122 kg in the snatch and 150 kg in the clean and jerk, securing silver medals in both exercises.

With a total result of 272 kg in the aggregate of the two lifts, Allahverdiyev also earned the silver medal in the total event.

With this performance, the Azerbaijani national weightlifting team completed the European Championship with a total of 15 medals, including 3 gold, 5 silver, and 7 bronze.
