The member states of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) have begun negotiations on an agreement to promote services and investment, OTS Secretary-General Kubanychbek Omuraliev said at the second meeting of heads of government and vice presidents of OTS member states in Baku, according to Report.
"We have already started negotiations on an important agreement to promote services and investment. This agreement should be ambitious and practical, not merely declarative. This initiative was proposed by Kazakhstan," he said.
He noted that while some OTS member states are also part of the Eurasian Economic Union, this should not hinder deeper Turkic economic integration.
