Pape Gueye has been officially named Man of the Match after delivering a brilliant performance in Senegal's 5-0 victory over Iraq at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Report informs via Daily Sports.
The midfielder came off the bench to score twice and provide an assist, including a stunning long-range strike that helped the Teranga Lions secure their first win of the tournament.
The emphatic victory revived Senegal's hopes of reaching the Round of 32 as one of the best third-placed teams after opening the competition with defeats to France and Norway.
