Azerbaijan's tax revenues near AZN 13 billion in 8 months

In January–August 2026, the State Tax Service (STS) under the Ministry of Economy collected just over 12.619 billion manats ($7.42 billion) in taxes for the state budget.

According to Report, citing STS, this is 9.2% higher compared to the same period last year and 7.7% above forecast.

Of the eight‑month revenues, about 9.469 billion manats (approximately $5.57 billion) came from the non‑oil and gas sector, marking a 12.3% increase year‑on‑year and 3.1% above forecast.

The State Tax Service is expected to transfer 16.91 billion manats (approximately $9.95 billion) to the budget this year.

According to current exchange rates, 1 US dollar equals 1.70 Azerbaijani manats.
