Serbia from December 1 will receive 2 million cubic meters of gas per day from Russia, CEO of the Serbian state company Srbiyagaz Dusan Bajatovic said, Report informs.
He noted that the parties have already agreed on this.
Russia is the only country that exports natural gas to Serbia. The parties signed agreements on providing the republic with about 2.2 billion cubic meters per year (62% of Serbia’s annual gas needs). In addition, Serbia plans to reserve about 700 million cubic meters of gas on its territory and in Hungary for the winter.
Recently, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has said that the republic plans to build an oil pipeline branch from Druzhba.
