Production in Surakhani field to drop over 4% next year

The Surakhani field is expected to produce 1.05 million barrels of oil next year, Report informs, citing the Opinion of the Chamber of Accounts of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the budget of the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan for 2023.

According to the information, the field is expected to produce 1.15 million barrels in 2022, down 4.54% from the forecast for 2023.

In 2021, this figure was 1.15 million barrels, 8.7% or 0.1 million barrels less than the expected production in 2023.
