Azerbaijan exports 14.4 billion cubic meters of gas in January-July

Azerbaijan exported 14.428 billion cubic meters of natural gas in January-July 2026, according to data from the State Customs Committee, cited by Report.

The value of the exported gas amounted to $4.882 billion.

Compared with the same period in 2025, natural gas exports increased by 0.12% in volume, while their value declined by 7.3%.

Natural gas accounted for 25.25% of Azerbaijan's total exports.

In January-July, Azerbaijan"s foreign trade turnover totaled $29.216 billion. Exports accounted for $19.336 billion, while imports stood at $9.881 billion. Year-on-year, exports increased by 27%, while imports decreased by 27.4%.
